Founded on July 1, 2020, by co-owners Shelton Franklin Jr. (CEO) and Rian McHenry (COO/CFO), New Life Logistix was built on a simple premise: complex relocation projects do not fail from a lack of trucks; they fail from a lack of field coordination, site management, and schedule alignment.

Headquartered in Virginia, New Life Logistix is a logistics solutions company that plans, coordinates, and carries out the operational work required to move people, belongings, materials, and projects forward nationwide. Our Operational Model

We operate with a modern, fleet-light service model. Rather than acting as a traditional trucking agency, transportation is just one integrated resource within our broader service approach. We bring together field supervision, local crews, specialized equipment, and contracted transportation as the project requires. By deploying dedicated company project managers directly on site, we take full accountability for managing site costs, maintaining strict timelines, and completing the assignment as a whole.

OuR Divisions

New Life Communities | Renovation Relocation Specialists

New Life Communities provides turnkey resident relocation and logistics management during occupied property renovations and rehabilitation projects. We work directly with private asset management companies, property owners, property managers, and construction leadership to coordinate resident belongings around strict construction phasing schedules.

Occupied rehabs require balancing a rigid construction schedule with sensitive resident homes. Our site operations span three core move models:

Hospitality Suite Transitions: Temporary resident moves to guest units or on-site apartments during active unit rehabs.
Tenant-In-Place Support: Moving or repositioning belongings within the home so construction teams get required access without full off-site displacement.
Off-Site & Container Logistics: Local off-site relocation to temporary housing and coordinated packing, loading, and unloading into temporary storage containers or PODs.

Every property follows our proven site progression lifecycle: Activate (establishing site leadership and local labor), Optimize (streamlining daily flow and mitigating construction delays), and Stabilize (confirming seamless ongoing execution).

New Life Campus | University & Student Move-In Support

New Life Campus delivers university and student move-in logistics designed to make campus arrival organized, efficient, and stress-free. We serve students and families preparing for college, as well as higher education institutions seeking controlled, schedule-aligned arrival programs.

Our campus model includes:

Tote-Based Shipping: Delivering packing totes directly to homes for prepaid shipment to receiving hubs.
Hub Receiving & Storage: Receiving, organizing, and holding student belongings and approved purchases at designated local hubs.
Last-Mile & Pre-Arrival Dorm Placement: Coordinating last-mile delivery directly to dorm rooms according to the university’s schedule and access procedures.
